Made for More: Visions of the Promised Land

World renowned speaker and author Christopher West, along with critically acclaimed musician, Mike Mangione, are coming to Louisville (St. Patrick) on September 18th with an all new event called MADE FOR MORE: VISIONS OF THE PROMISED LAND.
St. Luke & St. Rita are sponsoring this event. Tickets will sell out, so get your tickets now in the parish offices or on the parish websites. You will not want to miss this awesome and inspiring event! See the bulletin for more info, or contact John Sohl.

Tickets are only $20, please buy them quickly! This is an event bigger and more important than anything I could ever invite or ask you to attend. This will serve as a launching pad for future endeavors, hopes, and dreams for ALL OF US–in our families, in our communities, in our jobs, and in our small groups. Everywhere and everything will be affected by this experience.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone
who donated shoes for our
“I Thirst” Initiative!

We were able to collect over 800 pairs of baby shoes and over 1,000 pairs of adult shoes, totaling almost 2,000 pairs in less than three months!
WaterStep was very thankful for your donations and the kids had a blast counting and collecting the shoes. The pregnancy centers throughout the area will also benefit greatly from the donations so thank you all! Our display got rained out early during spring break, but we’ve learned a LOT of lessons from this effort and we hope to organize things to be even more effective next year.
Please pray for the Circle of Life!

I Thirst: A Reflection in the Desert

This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

This past weekend, the Circle of Life Youth entered into a weekend of prayer, workshops, works of mercy, and an openness to the future in ways never before conceived. Just a handful of high schoolers made the commitment all weekend, but the joy was strong and worth every moment. After everyone had arrived, we began with the interior life, starting with a reflective discussion over the meaning behind the words, “Light of Faith”.
