The Light of Faith [OVERNIGHT] Vigil is the preparation period for the Circle of Life High School Ambassadors to gather, work, play, and pray together before Saturday morning’s Mercy Activities & that afternoon’s [YOUTH RALLY] with the full community.

The permission slip is only for the [OVERNIGHT] at St. Luke, where boys will be separated from girls–and for the off-site transportation on Saturday morning. After 4pm Mass and the cookout & concert begins, families are encouraged to stay for the closing activities but are ultimately free to go home.

6:30pm     Gather @ St. Luke for Icebreakers & Introduction

7:00pm     Catechesis on the Light of Faith, Pope Francis’ transitional Encyclical

7:20pm      Final Set-up for the Rally

8:00pm      Vigil MASS for the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux

8:45pm       Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for overnight Adoration

11:00pm     Lights OUT (Education Space)

ADORATION SHIFTS throughout the night will be supported by the parish communities and encouraged for the high school youth with the understanding that lights out will begin promptly at 11pm. Youth will be allowed to take overnight shifts, but one adult (18+) must be present at all times.

10:30am    Depart for St. Luke

11:30am     Lunch & Recreation

1:00pm      Workshop #1

2:00pm      Workshop #2

3:00pm      Fire of Mercy Holy Hour

4:00pm     Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

5:00pm     Dinner & Fall Festival

5:45pm     Outdoor Concert Begins

7:15pm     Closing Reflection & Night Prayer
