In a distinctly Catholic setting NCYC invites participants to:
- Encounter Christ.
- Experience church.
- Be empowered for discipleship.
The National Catholic Youth Conference is a powerful, biennial, three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers (of high school age) and their adult chaperones. More than 23,000 young people and their chaperones attended 2015 NCYC in Indianapolis.
The 2017 National Catholic Youth Conference is November 16-18, back in Indianapolis, with the theme Called/Llamados.
The Archdiocese of Louisville organizes our pilgrimage to NCYC, requiring final payment and commitments from all teens and chaperones no later than August 15. NCYC costs a total of $480 per person, but through the Catholic Education Foundation and our own fundraising efforts, the cost per person is lowered to only $125!
Please make all checks to St. Athanasius with “Circle of Life – NCYC” in the memo line. Mail to St. Athanasius, c/o John Sohl, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville 40219.
